The decor is deceptively 'greasy spoon' as the food is delicious, with generous portions. Super friendly service that makes you feel at home. The sort of place you hope will be just around the corner from wherever you live.
Awesome food, exceptional quality, great service and atmosphere. I feel like I am eating food in heaven it is so good! This small cafe is a hidden gem!
Friendly service. Very satisfied with the pancake special. Scrambled eggs were fluffy, bacon and sausage patty were very tasty. Pancakes were fluffy, could have had more vanilla flavor. There are only 5 tables and the counter stools will feel very cramped if you're tall like me. I didn't want to wait for a table so we got the 2 open seats at the counter. Will definitely wait for a table next time. I found what could be our new breakfast spot.
Stopped in for the first time today while my car was charging out front. Ordered a grilled cheese with Irish cheddar and bacon, with a side of fries. Great, attentive service and great food - can't ask for more from a local breakfast/lunch spot. Will definitely be back to try out their breakfast options!
New to westchester and was looking for a fluffy omelette. This place was great! Good coffee and food. We swung by around 10am on a Saturday and there was about a 25 min wait for seating for 2 and ended up sitting at the counter. The broccoli and cheddar omelette was delicious and not overcooked like most places I've tried in the vicinity. Cash only and meter parking (bring quarters!).
What a cozy little neighborhood diner! The place was full of regulars which is always a good sign and I can see why. My kids practically inhaled their pancakes with chocolate and I loved the two eggs with corn beef hash. The food was delicious and the service was even better! Maureen is an absolute darling
We are back at Pinefield today for another amazing brunch. This is definitely our go to place for brunch in the area, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Pondfield features all the familiar breakfast and brunch selections such as breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, pancakes, etc. But, the real joy of this place is the superb breakfast specials they offer. Each week, Pondfield publishes 10 or so different breakfast specials on their Instagram account--all generally Mexican-inspired dishes featuring ingredients like eggs, tortillas, Avocado, homemade salsa, and so forth. As for the interior, Pondfield is your typical diner, with booth and counter seating. Nothing special, but definitely homey! And, they don't take reservations (seating is on a first come, first serve basis). A final shout out goes to the amazing staff at Pondfield! Everyone is super nice and friendly, and they treat their customers like family.
We loved it! Simple, yet authentic American breakfast place! We will definitely come back! I do recommend it!
